Is Corporate Services an experienced EAP?

Providing services since 1984, Corporate Services continues to meet the EAP needs of over 60,000 covered members and their families in a wide range of professions and vocations. We hold membership and participate actively in EAPA, the international organization of Employee Assistance professionals, and conform to their standards of practice. Corporate Services' Director, a Certified Social Worker, and the Associate Director have both received the internationally recognized Certified Employee Assistance Professional certification (CEAP). The Director has been active in the EAP field since 1983.

Is Corporate Services an accredited organization?

In 1999, Corporate Services received accreditation from the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families & Children Inc. in conjunction with its parent organization Pius XII Youth & Family Services. All of Corporate Services' EAP specialists are licensed psychologists or Certified Social Workers with a minimum of three years post-Master's experience.

How are requests for assistance handled?

Our trained central office staff responds immediately to calls to Corporate Services during office hours (9am-5pm Monday-Friday). We offer appointments within three business days of the initial client contact, and our client feedback confirms that calls are handled with confidentiality, efficiency and sensitivity. After hours, on-call professionals respond to requests for assistance within 15 minutes of the client's call.

What does Corporate Services offer in Emergency situations?

Corporate Services staff, through our nationwide toll-free 800 number, provide emergency on-call services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We offer immediate clinical review and intervention by telephone and, as needed, respond in-person the same day.

Is the EAP accessible to covered members?

Corporate Services maintains a comprehensive network of affiliate professionals within convenient travel time of members' home or workplace. We also participate in a nationwide EAP network giving us access to licensed professional services throughout the United States.

Are training services made available to contract organizations?

As part of the contract's annual fee, Corporate Services offers on-site training for management and supervisory staff with a focus on identifying and intervening with employees experiencing on-the-job problems. Special training on topics including, but not limited to, sexual harassment, hostile work environment and organizational change can be scheduled. On-site training of employees in the use of EAP member services is always provided.

What special services does Corporate Services offer to contract organizations?

  • All EAP services offered to employees are made available to family and significant others of employees at no additional cost.
  • Corporate Services offers financial consultation through an association of professional financial counselors, and provides legal consultation through a nationwide network of attorneys.
  • Critical Incident Response assistance is available for organizations and individuals dealing with post-traumatic stress.

What quality assurance measures does Corporate Services have in place?

Careful and confidential management of all calls and scheduled appointments is at the foundation of Corporate Services' quality assurance procedures. Quarterly confidential utilization reports are provided to contract organizations, as well as an annual survey of services. All EAP specialists complete an extensive application process and the Council on Accreditation reviews all EAP services every three years. In addition, clients are asked to complete a survey of services to ensure that their EAP experience is effective and beneficial.
